Sustainability at CANEX is structured around three core commitments that guide our processes and products.
Resource Efficiency
We upcycle extrusion scrap into premium die cast products, recirculating material within our own facility.
DECARBONIZATION
LED lighting across the facility (80–90% more energy-efficient than conventional lighting), an on-site solar power station, and energy-efficient billet heating furnaces help reduce our carbon footprint.

ISO 45001:2018 certified. A structured health and safety management system helps protect our workforce and supports a safe, compliant production environment.
At CANEX, scrap generated during aluminum extrusion is upcycled back into production. Our extrusion offcuts and trim pieces are collected, melted down with precision temperature control (±5 °C), and cast into premium die casting products for our GC and LPDC processes.
This upcycling model reduces our reliance on primary material, reduces energy consumption versus virgin aluminum processing, and allows us to offer die cast products with a traceable material origin.

CANEX has invested in energy-efficient infrastructure to help reduce energy consumption and emissions in our production operations.
LED Lighting
Full LED lighting installed throughout the factory — 80–90% more energy efficient than conventional industrial lighting, reducing electricity consumption significantly across our 32,000 m² facility.
Solar Power Station
Our solar installation helps power production operations and reduces the electricity we draw from the grid.
Energy-Efficient Furnaces
Our billet heating furnaces use energy-efficient designs that minimize heat loss and reduce fuel consumption per ton of aluminum processed compared to conventional furnace technology.
Wastewater Treatment
Dedicated on-site wastewater treatment systems ensure that process water from our powder coating pretreatment line is treated before discharge — meeting or exceeding environmental standards.

Pretreatment
Our 9-stage powder coating pretreatment tunnel uses chrome-free chemistry. By avoiding hexavalent chromium in pretreatment, we help protect waterways and support alignment with EU REACH environmental requirements.

CANEX holds ISO 14001:2015 certification, the international standard for environmental management systems. This certification verifies that our environmental management system meets the requirements of the standard, with environmental impacts systematically identified, managed, and continually improved.
Certified by Intertek (UKAS accredited), our ISO 14001 certification (certificate no. 0096717) covers the production of aluminum extrusions, aluminum die-cast products, and powder-coated profiles at our 6th of October City facility.
