Aluminum extrusion is a manufacturing process where a heated aluminum billet is forced under high pressure through a precision-machined steel die, producing a continuous profile with the exact cross-sectional shape of the die.

The process allows a high degree of design freedom, including hollow profiles, multi-chamber shapes, and thin-walled precision sections.

Low Pressure Die Casting (LPDC) is a process where molten aluminum is forced into a permanent steel mold under controlled low pressure, producing dense, high-integrity castings with strong mechanical properties.

CANEX uses LPDC to produce value-added cast components while up-cycling aluminum extrusion process scrap as raw material.
