Questions
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
We work with customers from sample quantities up to full production runs. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements — we aim to be flexible, especially for new customer relationships.
Which alloys do you work with?
For extrusion, we work with 6060, 6063, 6463, 6005, 6005A, 6081, 6082, 6101, and 1050. For die casting, we develop custom alloys upcycled from our extrusion scrap, formulated to meet your mechanical and surface finish requirements.
Do you offer both extrusion and die casting?
Yes. CANEX offers both aluminum extrusion (long profiles up to 13 m) and die casting — including Gravity Die Casting (GC) and Low Pressure Die Casting (LPDC) for 3D complex components up to 1.5 m. Both routes use in-house dies and share the same downstream machining, finishing, and delivery processes.
Can you handle DDP shipping to the USA or Europe?
Yes. We handle all Incoterms from EXW to DDP. This includes customs clearance, freight forwarding, cargo insurance, and last-mile delivery to your facility in North America, Europe, or MENA.
What certifications does your powder coating carry?
Our powder coating line is certified to QUALICOAT Seaside (the highest QUALICOAT level, for coastal and harsh-environment applications) and AAMA (the North American architectural standard). We also carry ISO 9001:2015 for our overall quality management system, and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management.
What is the maximum extrusion profile length?
We produce profiles from 3 meters (9.8 ft) minimum up to 13 meters (42.65 ft) maximum on our 22 MN and 27 MN IoT-adapted extrusion presses.
What is the lead time for a new die?
Typical lead time for a new extrusion or casting die is 3–5 weeks, depending on complexity. We use advanced simulation software to validate die geometry before manufacturing, minimizing costly revisions and accelerating your time to production.
